Wemilere: Songs & A Just Meditation Lullabies, slave songs, resistance, joy through the power of invoking ancestral memory in dedication to the Afro-Cuban orisha Chango. This music concert & rumba is a reflection on the importance of holding community space in a time of grieving, crying out, calling out amidst trauma, violence, and poverty sweeping the world. This concert & rumba will also be in celebration St.Barbara/Chango and a debut of new Afro-Cuban music and fusion from singer/performer Jadele McPherson featuring musicians Miguelo Valdes, Diosvany Valladares, Charles Hart and many more special guest Cuban artists.
